Repair/Replace Chillers, Towers, and Pumps

HHI provided design and construction management services for Schoomaker Electro Mechanical, Inc., during the HVAC upgrade of building 891 on Hill Air Force Base. The existing cooling system, which consisted of two separate cross-connected systems, was upgraded and balanced as one system to provide sufficient cooling for high density electronics.  HHI managed and maintained the schedule, processed submittals and pay requests, and provided quality control.

Repair Hanger Door

HHI removed the existing hanger door at Hill Air Force Base's buildings 227/228, and replaced it with a new bi-fold door. The new door required additional head room due to more robust supports, prompting an expansion to the facade of the building.

Install Blast-resistant Windows

Nakaya Construction installed blast-resistant windows in building 3236 at Dugway Proving Grounds, bringing the building up to compliance with force protection standards. HHI provided design and management services.

Building 469 Renovation

This 40,000 square foot design-build renovation at Tinker AFB modified an existing warehouse to a new “positive inventory control” facility at Tinker Air Force Base. Work includes complete renovation of the HVAC and plumbing systems, power, lighting, communications, and fire protection systems. Additional specialty work included upgrading the facility to Department of Defense secure facility standards, which required additional architectural, structural, and alarm system features. The entire project was designed and constructed in less than 100 days.

Kuddes Administration Building Upgrade

Building 4531at Dugway Proving Grounds required a complete renovation of the fire protection system for an administrative facility. The project replaced the existing Halon system with a new FM-200 system for protection of data rooms. Construction also included new generators, electrical improvements, and mechanical upgrades to improve services within the building.

Hill AFB Building 777

This design-build project resulted in a complete renovation of the interior of Building 777 at Hill AFB. The building's interior was already demolished. HHI provided all interior finishes (walls, paint, ceilings, floors, carpet, etc.), doors, HVAC, and electrical, for new kitchen, restrooms, and lounge with exercise and game rooms.
